Ten years ago
The weather was perfect in Madison. I listened to Continuum while I walked from my apartment on Johnson St to work on the lake shore. I thought the music and the weather were in perfect sync. Especially Belief.
That evening I saw Wilco play a show from the last row in the theater (thanks, Lindsey). I’d never really listened to them before, but I enjoyed the show and went to bed feeling charmed.

Tonight I walked down Houston after a few drinks with my coworkers. I looked to my left and saw the twin towers of light. I stopped to take a picture. When I walked above ground in Brooklyn I could still see them.
