I’ve been thinking and writing about verbs almost all weekend. But that’s neither here nor there: what’s both here and there is that I could do better than a 5lb weight for bookending the books I keep on my desk.

A few words about writing 750 words.
Just about every morning this month I woke up, and before heading to work or starting my weekend day, I wrote 750ish words. They usually took the form of a retrospective: what I did the day before, what I planned to do that day; regardless, I always found a little more clarity in my thoughts whenever I wrote.
So, I’m going to keep building this habit, and, friends, I encourage you to give it a shot, too.
